How does this sound for a resume objective?
You do it by deleting the objective statement and replacing it with a summary of qualifications. Then put all the pionate language in a cover letter where it belongs. That way, when after six months of not finding a job in a nonprofit organization or as a researcher, you begin to apply to other less-inspiring jobs or government work, you won't have to re-do your resume or risk eliciting a snort of derision every time someone looks at your resume. Put the volunteer experience and the research experience under work experience, but list the salary as $0. Be sure to include month and year that you started and began and number hours per week that you worked at each place, so that if someone is trying to quantify your experience in certain positions, they can do so.
