What's a good age to Try Pot?

I'm in year 8 in highschool, turning 14 in august, i don't want to be a pothead and i'm determined that i won't ever become one, but a few of my friends smoke it and my best friend did once, and she wants to try it again with me if i'm ok with it. I'm female by the way. Please tell me the age you were when you first tried it, if you became addicted, if you still smoke it now, and why i should or shouldn't, and if not now, what age 16, 17, 18? or maybe 15? or after i turn 15? I'm at a bit of a druggy school, i'm not giving in to peer pressure, i'm just not sure if i should treat it like virginity and hold it off till a special age when everyone's doing it. What should i do?
