I feel obligated to stay in a relationship because we move from one state to another together? What to do?

I don't want to cheat but I am interested in having friends (female) as prior to being with her (yes benefits were involved but didnt mean everything) I like hanging out without answering to someone, and her attitude towards situations is not as calm as mine which becomes frustrating at times. She looks to find drama (normal for females, not all but most) very talkative about others and pessimistic a little too much for my taste. I dont know if i am being to shallow hal or do I need to be a little selfish and find my happiness as oppose to feeling obligated to say that "we are happy"
